Our favorite place: South Padre Island, Texas
Mitzi and I are glad that you chose to visit our web site. We spend much of our time doing volunteer things in Longview, Texas, but also spend as much time as possible at our favorite hangout - South Padre Island. While on the ISLAND, we beachcomb, sunbathe, bicycle, walk, and enjoy the close proximity of Mexico.
We met at the University of Texas in Austin, in 1964, where Mitzi was in Sigma Delta Tau Sorority, and Rusty was in Phi Sigma Delta Fraternity.
We also are very active in Temple Emanu-El (Longview, TX), and the Texas Jewish Historical Society, and therefore are always interested in our families' roots. We are comprised of the Milstein, Falk, Shapiro, Ornish, and Goldberg families; all from Russia, but with a little Palestinian connection on the Goldberg side (early 1900's).
